According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Australian cross-bred wool prices have hit a three-year low. The ABC today quoted a broker who said there was talk of low-grade wool being ‘dumped’ at the tip. Scavenge for the story here.

Farmers Weekly reports that strong wool prices have climbed to their hghest point in three years. According to PGG Wrightson’s Dave Burridge the South Island, New Zealand market is attracting “strong demand for super and good style crossbred fleece and second shear wool types”.
