Media exposure

The potential audience for competitive shearing is immense. Each Southern Series (and/or World Series Shearing) event will be live-streamed to digital channels and be part of magazine-style content for any platform (for example www.tellinglives.co.nz) featuring the sport, the athletes and their back-stories, the event locales and the story of wool from ‘paddock to product’.

Television and digital programming reaches a huge potential audience. Both the live content and magazine material are ideal vehicles for sponsors and can be tailored for specific local markets. As well, this documentary-type filming will create an ongoing stream of publicity material for event organisers and partners.

Rationale         

Traditional broadcasters worldwide are constantly seeking new material to fill their schedules. Content distributors on a variety of digital platforms are doing the same. Competitive shearing fits neatly into the growing niche-sport category broadcasters are increasingly catering for. We can help stakeholders achieve what they want from television and digital exposure, whether it’s eyeballs/household reach, event promotion, interaction with competitors and fanbases, income or direct interaction with sponsors.
